Italian Tigelle

Do you know the Italian Tigelle? They are perfect for a salty breakfast, lunch, dinner, or as healthy snack. With our special “blend” they are made in few minutes and you can stuff to taste!

For tigelles:

1 Wholemeal blend for pizza, focaccia and tigelle

70 ml of warm water

150 ml of milk at room temperature

3 tablespoons of Gentile extra-virgin olive oil by Cartechini

For stuffing:

Ham to taste

24 months aged Mountain Parmigiano Reggiano cheese by Caseificio 993 chips to taste


Pour the mixture into a bowl, add water, milk, and oil.

Mix initially with a fork and then with your hands, until you get a homogeneous dough.

Roll out with a rolling pin or with your hands and cut into discs with a diameter of about 10 cm.

Cook in a non-stick pan closed with the lid for a few minutes on each side. Stuff with ham and Parmigiano Reggiano.
