Luce, which in Italian means “light,” is the first wine from Montalcino obtained from the blending of Sangiovese and Merlot grapes.
This great combination of Merlot’s roundness and softness with Sangiovese’s structure and elegance came to life thanks to the collaboration of Marchesi de’ Frescobaldi and Robert Mondavi families.
Since 2005, Lamberto Frescobaldi has been carrying on the tradition of this Super Tuscan wine appreciated all over the world.
The Frescobaldi family has been producing wine since the early 1300s and is committed to convey the spirit of Tuscany through their products, “the art of what is beautiful and what is good,” as they say.
Respect for nature and authenticity are the cornerstones of this winery, which has deep ties with the Italian artistic and historical heritage.
Their estates respect the principles of sustainable agriculture and were awared the Agriqualita’ certification in 2021.
