“Scyavuru” in Sicilian dialect means “perfume,” “smell,” “fragrance,” and this is the characteristic of Scyavuru jams. The recipe of Sciacca and Ribera sweet little strawberries jam (Slow Food Presidium*) preserves the taste of freshly picked fruit, aromatic and very fragrant. Creamy, with an intense, persistent flavor.
This jam is made with sweet little strawberries from Sciacca and Ribera, in Sicily (at least 65%).
This jam is a perfect spread for bread, rusks and biscuits. Try it also as a topping on ice cream or as a filling for your tarts and cakes.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place and in the refrigerator after opening (consume within a month).
